Inspection and Sealing of Indoor Gas Lines

Another focus of our services is the inspection and sealing of indoor gas installations. Within the scope covered by TRGI1 , we perform gas tightness testing of indoor gas installations in private homes, for property management firms, and plumbing companies.

Besides the annual gas inspections, we carry out serviceability tests on indoor lines which are mandatory for installation operators every twelve years.

If, during the inspection, your gas installation turns out to be leaking due to dried-up hemp seals, we are able to offer you a pipe renovation method that avoids expensive pipe replacement.

For more than 35 years, we have been sealing pipes successfully with hemp-sealed threaded unions using a swelling procedure (Gas-o-Seal) certified by the German Technical Inspection Authority (TÜV). These operations comply with the DVGW2 instruction sheet G 600 that covers the technical rules for indoor gas installations. We can say from our long-standing experience that pipes and pipe joints sealed with this procedure can guarantee a safe gas supply again for many years.

Our services in this field include:

  • Inspection of buried pipelines acc. to DVGW G 465/I and DVGW G 466/I.
  • Inspection of gas installations acc. to TRGI
  • Renovation of gas installations
  • Renovation of water installations
  • Renovation concepts for the industry, municipalities, and home owners

Depending on your requirements, we suggest the following options:

  • Swelling
  • Internal coating
  • Pipe coating made of plastics
